KI TISSA (When You Take)
In the shadow of Mount Sinai, where the divine light radiated with a holy brilliance, a solemn covenant was forged between God and His chosen people. Moses, the intermediary between heaven and earth, received the tablets of testimony inscribed with the divine law by the very finger of God. It was a moment of sacred significance, marking the bond between Creator and creation.
신성한 빛이 거룩한 광채를 발산하는 시내산 그늘에서 하나님과 그분의 선택된 백성 사이에 엄숙한 언약이 맺어졌습니다. 하늘과 땅의 중보자 모세는 하나님의 손가락으로 신성한 율법이 새겨진 증거의 돌판을 받았습니다. 창조주와 피조물 사이의 유대를 표시하는 성스러운 의미의 순간이었습니다.
Yet amidst the reverent awe atop the mountain, a stark contrast unfolded below. Amidst the delay of Moses' descent, the people grew restless and turned to their own devices. Fueled by impatience and uncertainty, they sought solace in the tangible, fashioning a golden calf as their object of worship.
하지만 산 정상에서는 경건한 경외감이 감도는 가운데 아래에서는 극명한 대비가 펼쳐졌습니다. 모세의 하산이 지연되자 백성들은 불안해하며 각자도생에 나섰습니다. 조바심과 불확실성에 휩싸인 백성들은 금송아지를 숭배의 대상으로 삼아 눈에 보이는 것에서 위안을 찾았습니다.
Across the annals of history, this tendency persists, echoing through the ages. In the waiting for the promised Messiah, hearts can falter, and allegiances can stray. When the hope for redemption wanes, alternative saviors emerge—be it wealth, power, or self-gratification—casting shadows upon the true light of salvation.
역사의 연대기에서 이러한 경향은 시대를 초월하여 지속되고 있습니다. 약속된 메시아를 기다리는 동안 마음이 흔들리고 충성심이 흐트러질 수 있습니다. 구속에 대한 소망이 약해지면 부, 권력, 자기만족 등 다른 구원자가 등장하여 진정한 구원의 빛에 그림자를 드리웁니다.
Echoes of ancient idolatry resonate in modern society, where the pursuit of earthly comforts often eclipses the pursuit of spiritual fulfillment. Just as the golden calf beckoned to the Israelites, so too do material temptations lure humanity away from the path of righteousness.
고대 우상 숭배의 메아리는 지상의 안락함을 추구하는 것이 영적 성취를 추구하는 것보다 우선시되는 현대 사회에서도 울려 퍼집니다. 금송아지가 이스라엘 백성들을 유혹했던 것처럼, 물질적 유혹도 인류를 정의의 길에서 멀어지게 합니다.
But amidst the clamor of earthly distractions, a steadfast promise endures. The Lord, faithful and unwavering, has pledged His return. Though the hour may seem uncertain, His word remains resolute. Yet, in the interim, the battleground of faith rages on, with hearts and minds ensnared by counterfeit gods.
그러나 세상의 시끄러운 소란 속에서도 굳건한 약속은 변함없습니다. 신실하시고 흔들리지 않으시는 주님은 재림을 약속하셨습니다. 그 시간이 불확실해 보일지라도 그분의 말씀은 여전히 확고합니다. 그러나 그 사이 믿음의 전쟁터는 가짜 신들의 올가미에 마음과 정신이 얽매이면서 맹위를 떨치고 있습니다.
As Aaron erected an altar before the golden calf, so too do modern altars of indulgence rise in defiance of God's decree. Yet, amidst the chaos, a call to reclaim the sacred echoes forth—a call to realign priorities, to reclaim lost seasons of worship, and to restore the covenant of faith.
아론이 금송아지 앞에 제단을 세웠듯이, 현대의 방종의 제단도 하나님의 명령을 무시하고 솟아나고 있습니다. 그러나 혼란 속에서도 신성한 것을 되찾아야 한다는 부르심, 즉 우선순위를 재조정하고 잃어버린 예배의 절기를 되찾고 믿음의 언약을 회복해야 한다는 부르심이 메아리치고 있습니다.
For just as Moses interceded on behalf of a stiff-necked people, so too does God yearn for champions of faith—those who will stand in the breach and plead for mercy in the face of His judgment.
모세가 목이 뻣뻣한 백성을 대신해 중보했던 것처럼, 하나님은 그의 심판에 맞서서 자비를 간청할 믿음의 용사를 갈망하고 있습니다.
Thus, the journey unfolds—a tapestry woven with threads of divine promise and human frailty, illuminated by the enduring hope of redemption. And in the midst of it all, the question remains: who will rise to be the modern-day Moses, bridging the chasm between heaven and earth, and leading humanity back into the light?
신성한 약속과 인간의 연약함을 실타래처럼 엮어 구원에 대한 끝없는 희망으로 비추는 여정이 펼쳐집니다. 그리고 이 모든 상황 속에서 누가 현대판 모세가 되어 하늘과 땅 사이의 틈을 메우고 인류를 다시 빛으로 인도할 것인가라는 질문이 남습니다.
Hero of Prayer, Moses
Amidst the camp, Moses drew near,
To witness scenes that filled him with fear.
A golden calf, a dance of revelry,
Anger surged, his soul in agony.
진영 한가운데서 모세는 가까이 다가갔습니다,
두려움으로 가득 찬 장면을 목격했습니다.
금송아지, 환희의 춤,
분노가 치밀어 올랐고 그의 영혼은 고통에 휩싸였습니다.
With righteous fury, he cast aside,
The tablets of stone, his anguish couldn't hide.
Not just wrath, but a symbol profound,
Of broken covenant, on sinful ground.
의로운 분노로 그는 던졌습니다,
돌판, 그의 고뇌는 숨길 수 없었습니다.
단순한 분노가 아니라 심오한 상징이었죠,
죄악의 땅에서 산산조각난 언약의 상징이죠.
Yet hope arose, in mercy's embrace,
As God's commandments found a second place.
On new tablets scribed, a promise anew,
Through Jeshua's coming, redemption drew.
그러나 자비의 품 안에서 희망이 생겼습니다,
하나님의 계명이 두 번째 자리를 찾았습니다.
새 석판에는 새로운 약속이 새겨졌습니다,
예슈아가 오면서 구원이 시작되었습니다.
The calf, their creation, met its end,
In flames it burned, to powder rend.
Scattered upon the water's flow,
Repentance demanded, from high to low.
그들의 피조물인 송아지는 최후를 맞이했습니다,
불길에 타서 가루가 되고 말았습니다.
물의 흐름에 흩어졌고
높은 곳에서부터 낮은 곳까지 회개가 요구되었습니다.
"Who stands with the Lord?" Moses' cry,
Levi's sons answered, without a sigh.
Armed with the Word, they marched with might,
To purge the camp, of idolatrous blight.
"누가 주님과 함께 설 것인가?" 모세의 외침에,
레위의 아들들은 숨도 쉬지 않고 대답했습니다.
말씀으로 무장한 그들은 힘차게 행진했습니다,
우상 숭배의 역병으로부터 진영을 정화하기 위해.
"Strip off your ornaments," Moses declared,
A symbol of surrender, hearts bared.
No more to be bound by worldly desire,
But in God's will, to find the fire.
모세는 "장신구를 벗으라"고 명령했습니다,
항복의 상징, 마음을 드러내는 상징.
더 이상 세상의 욕망에 얽매이지 않겠다고요,
하나님의 뜻에 따라 불을 찾습니다.
Into the tabernacle's hallowed space,
Moses sought the Lord, seeking grace.
A pillar of cloud, a sign divine,
Restoration's hope, in that holy shrine.
성막의 거룩한 공간으로,
모세는 은혜를 구하며 주님을 찾았습니다.
구름 기둥, 신성한 표징,
회복의 희망, 그 거룩한 성소에서.
"If Your presence won't go, lead us not," he pled,
Without God's guidance, all hope would be dead.
In humble prayer, his heart laid bare,
Moses sought the Lord, in fervent prayer.
"주님의 임재가 없다면 저희를 인도하지 않으소서."라고 그는 간청했습니다,
하나님의 인도하심이 없다면 모든 소망은 사라질 것입니다.
겸손한 기도 속에서 그의 마음이 드러났습니다,
모세는 간절한 기도로 주님을 찾았습니다.
