It was not the Israelites' destiny or the essence of their lives to continue to live as slaves in Egypt.
The Book of Exodus is the story of the journey and departure to find the will of God in their names in the midst of a world surrounded by the Egypt 'Mitzraim'.
이집트에서 계속 노예로 사는 것은 이스라엘 민족의 운명이나 삶의 본질이 아니었습니다. 출애굽기는 이집트 '미쯔라임'에 둘러싸인 세상 속에서 그들 이름에 두신 하나님의 뜻을 찾아 떠나는 여정과 출발의 이야기입니다.
In the desert of my despair, a shepherd's staff in hand, I, Moses, found refuge in a barren land.
Once a prince in Egypt's grand attire, now I tended sheep by Horeb's sacred pyre.
절망의 사막에서 목자의 지팡이를 손에 쥔 나, 모세는 척박한 땅에서 피난처를 찾았습니다.
한때 이집트의 왕자였던 나는 이제 호렙의 신성한 장작불 옆에서 양을 돌봅니다.
Amidst the thornbush, a flame caught my gaze, yet it burned not, a mystery in the desert's haze. Anointed by God's presence, a fire so divine, a life ignited, but the tree, it does entwine.
가시덤불 속에서 불꽃이 내 시선을 사로잡았지만 타지 않았습니다. 사막의 안개 속 신비로움입니다.
하나님의 임재로 기름부음을 받은 신성한 불, 생명에 불이 붙었지만 나무는 서로 얽혀 있습니다.
No longer consumed by worldly schemes, in the wilderness, I discovered new dreams.
A shepherd's heart, my purpose refined, God's flame within, a presence, a sign.
더 이상 세상의 계획에 사로잡히지 않고 광야에서 새로운 꿈을 발견했습니다.
목자의 마음, 연단된 나의 목적, 내 안의 하나님의 불꽃, 임재, 그리고 표징.
To Horeb's mount, my flock did graze, a holy encounter, where God's voice does blaze.
Not consumed by ambition's fiery plight, a life aflame, yet in God's presence, alight.
호렙산에 내 양떼가 풀을 뜯었습니다. 하나님의 음성이 타오르는 거룩한 만남이 있는 그 곳에서.
야망의 불길에 휩쓸리지 않는 삶, 불타는 삶, 그러나 하나님의 임재 안에서 솟아나는 삶입니다.
In the midst of thorns, a burning bush, symbolic of a life, from bondage set free.
No longer fuel for the world's cruel pyre, but a vessel for God's anointing fire.
가시덤불 한가운데서 불타는 나무, 속박에서 해방된 생명을 상징합니다.
더 이상 세상의 잔인한 장작불을 위한 연료가 아니라 하나님의 기름부음의 불을 담는 그릇입니다.
In the desert's hush, where silence meets the sand, God calls my name, a savior.
"Moshe! Moshe!," He whispers, a voice so divine, a calling unexpected.
침묵이 모래와 만나는 사막의 고요함 속에서 하나님은 구원자로서 내 이름을 부릅니다.
"모세야 모세야," 신성한 목소리로, 예상치 못한 부름으로 속삭이십니다.
"Remove your shoes," He declares, holy ground below, a sanctuary of time, where God's presence does flow.
Stripped of earthly ties, on this sacred plot, I stand as Moses, chosen, yet fraught.
"신발을 벗으라." 그분은 거룩한 땅, 하나님의 임재가 흐르는 시간의 성소를 선언하십니다.
세속적인 인연을 벗어던지고 이 신성한 땅에서 나는 선택받았으나 두려움에 떨고 있는 모세가 되어 서 있습니다.
A fallen prince, a Hebrew cast aside, rejected by my kin, wounds deep and wide.
God beckons me, "Come, lead my people, be bold, from Egypt's grip, let the story unfold."
몰락한 왕자, 버림받은 히브리인, 동족에게 버림받은 상처는 깊고 컸습니다.
하나님은 손짓하십니다. "오라, 내 백성을 이끌고, 담대하게, 이집트의 손아귀에서 벗어나 이야기를 펼쳐라"
"Who am I...?" I question, in humble refrain, a prince in exile, carrying Egypt's stain.
Yet God insists, His purpose revealed, a savior for Israel, the fate now sealed.
"내가 누구이기에...?" 이집트의 오명을 뒤집어쓴 망명 왕자, 겸손하게 되묻습니다.
그러나 하나님은 자신의 목적을 밝히시며 이스라엘의 구원자, 이제 운명이 결정되었습니다.
In the face of uncertainty, a comforting decree, "I will certainly be with you," God assured.
My soul inquired. ‘What is your name?’
God said to Moshe, “Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh [I am what I am],”
Not a solitary deity, distant and apart, but within, a flame to ignite the heart.
"I am," He declared, a presence within, God entwined with my essence".
불확실성속에서 "내가 반드시 너와 함께할 것이다" 말씀하십니다.
"당신의 이름은 무었입니까?"
"나는 스스로 있는 자니라".
멀리 떨어져 있는 고독한 신이 아니라 내면에 있는, 마음을 태우는 불꽃입니다.
"나는 존재한다" 라고 선언하셨습니다. 나의 본질과 얽혀 있는 하나님이십니다.
