While Jacob dwelled in the land of Canaan, his son Joseph, at the tender age of seventeen, worked alongside his brothers, tending to the flock of their father's livestock. However, tensions arose among the siblings, as Joseph, not hesitating to report misdeeds, brought a bad report about his brothers to their father, Jacob.
Jacob, having a deep affection for Joseph, favored him above all his other children. This favoritism was evident in the special garment Jacob bestowed upon Joseph – a tunic of many colors. This symbolic and vibrant garment became a source of envy among Joseph's brothers, intensifying the already existing discord in the family.
He experienced vivid dreams that foretold his future prominence and the eventual bowing down of his brothers before him. Unaware of the impact these dreams would have, Joseph foolishly shared them with his family, further fueling resentment among his brothers.
야곱이 가나안 땅에 머무는 동안 요셉의 삶이 일어납니다:
